The World According to Donald Trump â€Å"I want to tell the world community that while we will always put America’s interests first, we will deal fairly with everyone, all people and all other nations.† Donald J. Trump, victory speech on November 9, 2016 On November 8, 2016, Donald J. Trump shocked the entire nation and the world when he was elected President of the United States of America. Against all odds, he was able to defeat Hillary Clinton, a candidate who had greater knowledge of the political system and foreign affairs. Donald Trump; a businessman, will become the first president in the history of the United States with no political, military or foreign policy experience. Yet, he has stated that his knowledge and experience in business will help him navigate in the international arena. In the domestic political arena, Republicans and Democrats had said that Mr. Trump lacks concise and clear political philosophy. For them, he is just a simple demagogue and charlatan that vilifies the current political establishment. Yet, his particular and unique ideology has come to be known as â€Å"Trumpism†, an ideology that differs completely from traditional American conservatism or liberalism. Historians N. D. B.
